The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food is responsible for:

  • Drawing up agriculture policy and legislation;
  • Rural development;
  • The implementation and management of the CAP policy; and
  • The adaptation of agriculture and forestry to climate change;
  • Management of the European Food Safety Authority Focal Point

 

Local

Local authorities are responsible for:

  •  Creating the conditions for the rural development ; and

  • Carrying out tasks in the areas of agriculture, in accordance with the law.
