Central

The central Government is responsible for:

Youth Policy

  • The state youth policy is prepared and implemented by the Youth Department under the supervision and control of the Ministry of Social Security and Labour. The implementation of youth policy is based on the principle of subsidiarity and the Law of Youth Policy Framework.

Sports Policy

  • The sport policy defines the strategic directions and priority programmes related to the development of physical education and sports.

 
Local
 
Local authorities are responsible for:
 

Youth Policy

  • Protection of the rights of children and the youth;
  • Municipalities frame and implement the municipal youth policy.

Sports Policy

  • Development of physical training and sport activities, organisation of recreation;
  • Municipalities form and implement the physical education and sports policy;
  • Municipalities establish physical education and sports institutions and fund the activities of sports education centres within their territory;
  • Municipalities develop physical training and sports programmes.
