Central


Central government is responsible for:

  • Vocational training institutions;
  • Agricultural colleges (managed by Ministry of Agriculture);
  • Public technical programmes (managed by the Technical Institute, Teachers Institute and Industrial Technical Institute);
  • Marine Science training programmes;
  • A training centre and three mobile units;
  • 70 community development centres (managed by the Ministry of Social Affairs).[1]
  • Licensing and accreditation of vocational and educational training providers;
  • School management;
  • Curriculum and qualifications development and implementation;
  • Organisation of programmes;
  • Inspectorate.
