The Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs.

Responsibilities of the ministry include:

  • The overall social policy:
  • Pensions and disability insurance;
  • Social security;
  • Family law;
  • Gender equality;
  • The protection of the youth and women;
  • The protection of the disabled;
  • The protection of children.

 

Regional

Autonomous provincial authorities are responsible for:

  • Social welfare;
  • Regulating issues and enhancing the conditions related to the pension insurance, employment, veterans' and disability protection, social protection of the family, children, youth and elderly people

 

Local

Municipal authorities are responsible for:

  • Establishing, managing and monitoring institutions and organizations that provide for child and social welfare, Social welfare.
  • Disbursement of social welfare grants, benefits, pensions and insurance payments.
