Regional
Regional authorities are responsible for:
- Protection of animals, and
- Environmental protection.
Local
Local authorities are responsible for:
- Arranging the maintenance of cleanliness on the streets and in other public spaces;
- Environmental protection;
- Vegetation in built-up areas and other vegetation in public places;
- Water management and treatment;
- Urban heating, and
- Waste processing.
