Central 

The Ministry of Education is responsible for 

  • Vocational and Technical Education policy and legislation;
  • Projects;
  • Admissions;
  • Quality assurance;
  • Establishment and regulation of vocational training institutions.

The adopted Strategy for the Development of Technical Vocational Education 2013-2020 presents a coherent vision on VET system and financial and technical (assistance) resources have been assured by the European Training Foundation.

A GIZ funded project is also in pace to promote demand led Vocation Education and training from 2015 – 2018.

The Moldova 2020 National Development Strategy aims to deliver education which is career relevant to develop skilled, flexible and productive labour force.

  • Maintenance of institutions of secondary vocational education serving the people of the district concerned.
