Central

The Ministry of Equipment and Transport is responsible for:

  • Development and implementation of transport legislation;
  • Transport Strategy 2015 implementation;
  • Building and maintenance of roads, rail, air transport infrastructure;
  • Driving license authority;
  • National transport companies report to the ministry

 

Regional

Regional-level transport companies report to the Ministry of Equipment and Transport.

 

Local

The powers of the communes include urban public transport, maintenance of road infrastructure, and medical transportation.  ​
