  • Central government is responsible for:
  • Preliminary professional (vocational) education;
  • Middle level professional education;
  • Higher professional education;
  • Post graduate professional education.
  • Vocational Education Reform Programme 2016
  • European VET area vocational education system integration;
  • increasing the effectiveness of VET system management,
  • expansion of social partnerships;   
  • National framework for vocational qualifications;
  • A credit system in VET.

 

Regional

Regional bodies (the governors) carry out regional policy determined by central government. Other than fulfilling central level competencies within their area of responsibility, governors are responsible for co-ordinating local authorities (communities) in their region and providing a line of communication between the local and central levels of government.

 

Local

Other than voluntary capabilities to devise and implement measures in vocational training, no competencies identified at the local level.
