Central

The Ministry of Infrastructure is responsible for the Trans‑European Transport Networks (TEN‑T) policy at the national level.

 

There are many TEN‑T transport projects in Poland; they are as parts of the North Sea‑Baltic Corridor  and the Baltic‑Adriatic Corridor and funded by the Connecting Europe Facility.

 

The General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) is responsible for implementation of road TEN‑T projects.

 

Regional

Regional authorities are responsible for:

  • Regional road management.


County authorities are responsible for:

  • Road building and maintenance at the powiat level.


 

Local

Local authorities are responsible for:

  • Local roads.
