  • Monitoring frameworks and data collection;
  • Land use policies;
  • Agricultural production regulation (including livestock and crop);
  • Development of the Agri-Food industry;
  • Financial support services;
  • Agricultural education, extension and information systems;
  • Forestry and hunting policies;
  • Water management;
  • Inspectorates;
  • Implementation of CAP-like measures;
  • Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) alignment;
  • Enforcement of Stabilization and Association Agreement;
  • Development of infrastructure to manage European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and other EU funds once an EU Member State.

 

Local

Municipalities are responsible for:

  • Providing support for rural development;
  • Establishing conditions for the use of agricultural land;
  • Promotion of local agricultural producers.
