  • Developing the labour market infrastructure (professional orientation, professional consulting, employment assistance)
  • Registering jobseekers (including the unemployed)
  • Introducing and implementing employment promotion services and programmes
  • Coordination and monitoring of supporting employment units of the Ministry
  • Organising non-military alternative service conscripts.

  • Supporting entrepreneurship,
  • Incentivising investment activities,
  • Creating jobs,
  • Developing associated social infrastructure; and
  • Elaborating on regional socio-economic development plans and programmes and coordinating of their implementation

  • Promote employment through facilitating business investment
