- Drafts long-term and annual energy balances, and monitoring thereof;
- Implements tasks deriving from the Energy Community Treaty.
- Exercise economic regulation in the electricity, District Heating and Natural Gas sectors. (Energy Regulatory Office - ERO): and
- Develop a National Energy Efficiency Plan
