"Subsidiarity monitoring after Lisbon: experiences and perspectives"

The Subsidiarity Conference is the Committee of the Regions' key event on subsidiarity. Organised biennially, it seeks to strengthen the inter-institutional dynamic of subsidiarity scrutiny and allows genuine dialogue to take place between all parties involved in the subsidiarity monitoring process. The Subsidiarity Conference has become a key feature of the EU and national institutional agenda, just as the subsidiarity principle has become a key feature of the democratic framework of the EU.
