Members of the Subsidiarity Expert Group (SEG) as well as the partners of the Subsidiarity Monitoring Network (SMN) had been invited to participate in a subsidiarity-related consultation on the review of EU waste legislation.
The waste file is one of the five priorities set in the Committee of the Regions' Subsidiarity Work Programme for 2013.
Mr Michel Lebrun (BE/EPP) is the rapporteur for the CoR outlook opinion on the "Review of the EU's waste key targets" which has been adopted at the CoR plenary on 3 July 2013. The consultation received 16 contributions which have been forwarded to the rapporteur.
