28 - 30 October 2009, Florence, Italy The EU decision-making process has been gradually opened to a different number of institutional actors. Regions improved their tools to monitor the European legislative process with the possibility of actively taking part in the same process, to influence it and to adapt their own legislation. This new scenario requires the regional actors – elected representatives and officers - to improve their skills and knowledge of the decision-making process. The Training Programme focus on this issue. It is practically oriented and is organized in two working sessions.
