CoR - Less bureaucracy for citizens: promoting free movement of public documents and recognition of the effects of civil status records

A new targeted consultation of the Subsidiarity Monitoring Network (SMN) has been launched and will run till 2nd September 2011.

Mr Patrick McGowan (IE/ALDE), CoR rapporteur on the Green Paper on "Less bureaucracy for citizens: promoting free movement of public documents and recognition of the effects of civil status records" (COM(2010) 747 final), would like to submit some questions related there to the SMN.

This consultation is not included in the 2011 SMN Work Programme established at the beginning of the year, but raises however some interesting questions from a subsidiarity point of view.
