- Consultation open until 29 June -The European Committee of the Regions as the institutional representative of regional and local authorities, is launching a process of consultation of its regional and local stakeholders to support the input of its three members on all aspects of the work of the Task Force.

This first consultation seeks to gather opinions and input relating to the third objective of the Task Force, which is central to the interests of local and regional authorities and will be the subject of the next Task Force meeting on 23 February 2018. At that meeting, the CoR intends to put forward proposals on how to strengthen the involvement of the LRAs throughout the whole policy cycle - both in the short term and in the longer term - including in specific areas such as economic governance and the European Semester. It is crucial for LRAs and for the CoR to show the added-value of involving LRAs all along the EU policy-making process through the Multi-level Governance approach.

​A survey has been launched by invitation towards all regional and local stakeholders and any other local or regional authority or association who did not receive the invitation but who would like to take part in the survey is invited to send an email to the following address subsidiarity@cor.europa.eu .
