Local level
Local governments can formulate LEADER groups (consisting in a range of public and private sector stakeholders) who can devise and implement Community Led Local Development plans.
In accordance with national rural development programmes, local governments can apply for funding and propose projects to benefit the agricultural sector.
Local governments otherwise promote and support their constituent agricultural producers and service providers.
