How to join?

 
 
The Charter for Multilevel Governance in Europe is open to all European public authorities for signature or support.
 

          1. Sign the Charter

Local and Regional Authorities can sign the Charter electronically, using the Charter’s dedicated signature form.
Once completed, the signature form must be submitted together with a document attesting of the signatory’s political decision to sign the Charter.

         2. Adhere to Multilevel Governance (MLG)  principles

The Charter is open to European, national or sub-national associations of local and regional authorities together with their networks, which will be able to formally adhere to MLG principles by completing a specific adherence form.
Once completed, this specific form must be submitted together with a document attesting of the signatory’s political decision to formally adhere to MLG principles

          3. Support Charter objectives
Expressions of support to the Charter principles and objectives emanating from EU institutions, international organizations, EU member states, national administrations and political figures can be found on the Charter website support page.
