The European Commission has launched a broad consultation process for the review of the EU Thematic Strategy on Air Pollution in order to identify areas for improvement.  Given the importance of air quality management for many municipalities and regions in the EU, the European Commission has asked the Committee of the Regions to prepare an outlook opinion on this issue.
