The CoR, in cooperation with European Cross Border Citizens' Alliance members held public consultations on the joint vision of the long-term future of cross-border cooperation in the European Union which serves as a basis for a CoR resolution which is planned for adoption at the July 2021 plenary.
This resolution will present concrete proposals for the future of cross-border cooperation and constitute the official contribution of the CoR, and the European Cross Border Citizens' Alliance members, to the Conference on the Future of Europe.
We received around 350 replies from all Member States (except Lithuania) with the majority of them are from Italy, Germany and France, followed by Poland, Croatia, the Netherlands and Austria. Additionally, respondents from non-EU countries (Switzerland, Norway, Serbia, Andorra, Ukraine, and United Kingdom) also answered the survey.
