The statutes of the "Eurodistrict SaarMoselle" with partners from France and Germany have been signed the 6 May 2010. The registered office of this new EGTC will be in Sarreguemines (FR).

The Eurodistrict SaarMoselle was established in May 2010 with partners from France and Germany (registered office in Sarreguemines, France). The actions of the Eurodistrict contribute to the development of a cross-border area where 600 000 inhabitants live, notably in the fields of tourism, health and transport. The establishment of this EGTC represents the achievement of more than 10 years of cross-border cooperation.
