Espacio Portalet

The EGTC 'Espacio Portalet', was constituted in Spain on 3 June 2011, day of its registry by the national authority. The Presidents of the Government of Aragón and of the General Council of Pyrénées Atlantiques signed the convention and the statutes on 19 May 2011.

The objectives of the EGTC 'Espacio Portalet' are to identify, promote and implement actions and projects of territorial cooperation in order to reinforce the economic and social cohesion. The priority areas are the tourism, heritage and culture, and the management of the border crossing of El Portalet between the regional road A136 in Spain and the department road D 934 in France, including the maintenance of the infrastructure.
