The workshop of the EGTC Platform during the Open Days 2014 will take place in Brussels on 8 October 2014 in the morning, chaired by the political coordinator of the Platform, Mr Herwig Van Staa (AT/EPP).
The workshop will focus on the opportunities and potential of the EGTC in the distant cooperation, without involving border neighbourhood. The programme will include EGTC of non-neighbouring cities, the programme Interreg in its role of exchange of experience concerning the identification, transfer and dissemination of good practices and innovative approaches in relation to the implementation of cooperation programmes and actions as well as to the use of EGTCs as established in Regulation (EU) 1299/2013, and the possibility of building Interreg projects with different EGTC as partners.
