On Thursday May 18th 2017, the 4th cross border Jobfair will take place from 13.00 to 18.00 o’clock in the Freethielfootballstadion, Beveren-Waas. This event will be organized by the EGTC Linieland van Waas and Hulst in collaboration with Maatschappij Linkerscheldeoever and partners VDAB, UWV, EURES Scheldemond, Waasland-Beveren and GTI Beveren. What is so special about this jobfair is that it has a cross border character. Both Belgian and Dutch enterprises will be present at the fair. Coaches will bring Dutch persons in search of employment living in Hulst directly to the Jobfair in Beveren, Belgium.

The objective this year is to obtain a better match between the employers and the job-applicants in our border-area. We hope to achieve this through the use of digital tools, a more personal reception of the job-applicants and job counseling.
Through the valuable collaboration between public authorities, enterprises and educational institutions, the EGTC Linieland van Waas en Hulst hopes to make the cross border Jobfair 2017 a succesful event!

The cross border jobfair is part of the Interregproject ‘Grensinfovoorziening Vlaanderen-Nederland’, a European funding program that emphasizes on the building of a solid structure of information-providing in the border region of Vlaanderen-Nederland.
