The main goal of the MASH EGTC is the  implementation of European Union programs within territorial cooperation [European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), European Social Fund (ESF) and/or Cohesion Fund financed or co-financed].   

 

Other additional tasks of the cooperation:

  • Joint environmental protection management;
  • Reduction of isolation within the territory;
  • Improve access to IT and communication networks;
  • Better availability of cross-border water-utility, waste and energy systems;
  • Support integrated territorial development .

 Review of activities 2016

Tasks
The EGTC was created to provide a platform allowing mayors to work together on common cross-border projects and programmes. The EGTC was involved in the development of joint strategies.
The EGTC has prepared and plans to prepare more projects under the Slovenia-Hungary Interreg VA programme, especially under TO 11.

Challenges or issues
The EGTC encountered some challenges. But what these were is not mentioned.
