The EGTC Euroregion Nouvelle-Aquitaine Euskadi Navarra results from a partnership between France and Spain, involving around 8.75 million inhabitants in a 101,678 km²'s area.
This EGTC has been established in order to carry out common actions to strengthen the economic, social and cultural development and cohesion, representing its interests at a local, regional, national and international level.
To achieve its objectives, the EGTC has three priorities: to ensure a sustainable mobility area, to achieve a sustainable, smart and inclusive growth, and to develop a euroregional citizenship.

The Euroregional strategy
The EGTC Euroregion Nouvelle-Aquitaine Euskadi Navarra develops and supports territorial projects in fields as varied as the economy, employment, education, multilingualism, culture, mobility...
In the strategy of the Euroregion, the development of economic, social, cultural and environmental activities means doing for and with the citizens: their involvement is essential to the implementation of projects of which they can be the addressees and/or the actors.
New technologies, interaction, participation, communication... The EGTC Euroregion Nouvelle-Aquitaine Euskadi Navarra invests transversally in these areas in order to reinforce territorial cohesion on the basis of its 4 axes:
- Euroregional citizenship
- The economy of knowledge, innovation and competitiveness
- Sustainable territory and mobility
- Open governance.
Budget
Around € 1,650,000 financed equally by the Autonomous Community of Euskadi, the Foral Community of Navarre and the Regional Council of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, € 550,000 each partner.
