The European  Commission  has recently issued a proposal for a regulation on  the  “Connecting Europe Facility” (COM (2011) 665),  The Committee of the Regions is going to adopt an opinion on this, a dossier for which Dr Ivan ZAGAR (SI/EPP) has been appointed CoR rapporteur. 

In the context of the preparation of his draft opinion Dr Zagar would like to consult widely local and regional authorities on some particular questions. 

Attached, you can find the questionnaire and a background note on the consultation in English. The translations in all EU official languages will be posted on our website at end of this week.

Contributions may be submitted in any of the EU official languages till 27th January 2012 (deadline extended).

All contributions received will be forwarded to Mr Zagar, together with a report on the consultation which may eventually be published.
