13.01.2012. Next 29 March, the Committee of the Regions has proposed an interinstitutional conference on EGTC to be organized in Brussels. The Conference aims to promote the dialogue between the European Commission, the Members of the European Parliament, the representatives of the EU Member States and the Committee of the Regions.

The conference will take place in a moment in which the EGTC Regulation and the future cohesion policy are under discussion. The topics to be dealt with are strategic: the future of the EGTC, its role in the future cohesion policy in the perspective 2014-2020 and the new revised Regulation.

The conference will be preceded by the annual meeting of the EGTC Platform.

The confirmation of the date and venue will follow, together with the definitive agenda.
